A sprinkle of snow adorns the gorgeous autumn mossy foliage at Hraunfossar in Iceland. Also known as the 'Lava Falls', Hraunfossar is a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets of water seeping through porous rocks within lava. The water eventually cascades into the Hvítá river below. Glorious chunks of ice wash ashore at the black sand beach near Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon in Iceland. As the midnight sun hovers on the horizon with a fiery glow, storm clouds roll in, ready to drench the scene in shades of grey. This photo was taken during a photography workshop around Iceland.
