An aerial view of the Icelandic Highlands in summer. The patterns in these rhyolite mountains when the snow melts can result in interesting shapes. Sometimes, the ridge-lines even look like orcas! During winter, these patterns are not able to be seen, as the mountains are completely smothered in a deep layer of snow.
