Day 2 - Reykjavik , Kulusuuk , Tasiilaq

The adventure begins! We'll catch a plane in the morning from Reykjavik domestic airport, arriving by noon in Kulusuk, East Greenland. During the journey, there will be great opportunities to photograph the marine life, such as whales, as well as sea birds that call the ocean home.

Day 3 - Ikateq , Knud Rasmussen Glacier

On day three, we'll head out to the Ikateq area, where our first stop will be an abandoned old American base. The dilapidated buildings make for a stark contrast to the stunning scenery all around.

As the sun arches higher in the sky, we'll make our way to the Knud Rasmussen glacier in the far northwest of Greenland, which feeds the Wolstenholme Fjord. This glacier makes for spectacular images. There may even be the opportunity to photograph ice calving away from the glacier itself, splashing into the sea.

Day 5-6 - Tiniteqilaaq

Over the next two days, we'll immerse ourselves in the settlement of Tiniteqilaaq, where we'll have the incredible chance to stay in a local Inuit house. The highlight will be when we sail out into the icy Sermilik fjord to capture the colossal icebergs that float serenely in its depths.

Day 7 - Kuummiut

On this day, we'll set sail early in the morning, stopping at the Inuit hamlet of Kuummiut. Here, we'll spend our time exploring the coastline, photographing the locals as they return from their hunting and fishing trips.

From there, we'll make our way to the Ikassa fjord, where icebergs line the rocky coastline. They make for an impressive sight, with majestic mountains as a stunning backdrop. Depending on the conditions, there may be the option of hiking to the tongue of the glacier, to view the patterns of the ice up close. Thereafter, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch on the ice before making our way back to Tasiilaq.
